Pumpkin helps you record your baby's feeds, sleep, nappies and more, and share that record with the people you choose. This page explains what we store, why, and what you can do about it. If anything here is unclear, email hello@joinpumpkin.com.

What we store

Why we store it

To run the app: to keep your records safe, sync them between your devices, and share them with the people you've invited. We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising.

Analytics and crash reports

To understand which features are used and to fix crashes, the app sends usage events to PostHog, hosted in the EU. These say what kind of thing happened, such as "a feed was logged" or "a timer was started", along with counts. They never include your child's name, health measurements, notes or anything you type.

Who processes it for us

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your records for as long as you have an account. You can delete a child's records from within the app, which removes them for everyone they're shared with. To delete your account and everything in it, or to ask for a copy of your data, email hello@joinpumpkin.com.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct, export or delete the personal data we hold about you, and object to how we use it. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Children

Pumpkin is used by parents and carers. The records it holds are about children, but the app is not intended to be used by them.

Changes

If we change how we handle your data, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
